King County and City of Seattle announce updates to employee vaccine mandate

Effective Feb. 7, 2023, Mayor Harrell ended the COVID vaccine requirement for employees, volunteers, and contractors as outlined in Executive Order 2021-08. Contractors will no longer be required to provide proof of vaccination. Unvaccinated contractors will be allowed to return to City worksites.
