The Library is not bound by such information. Following the RFP submittal deadline, Proposers shall continue to direct communications to only the Library Project Manager.
This RFP has been developed and distributed by The Seattle Public Library (Library), a department of The City of Seattle (“City”), a Washington municipal corporation. Any references in this RFP to the City or Library may also apply to City of Seattle departments, regulations and requirements.
Note about this RFP Re-Bid:
This RFP was originally issued on March 26, 2014 and was for software only. Based on several of the responses received as well as a separate evaluation of equipment by Library staff, the Library has decided to expand the scope of the RFP to include RFID antenna/reader equipment. The additional requirements for equipment appear on page 14 (Requirement #12) and the cost proposal in Attachment C has been expanded to request cost information related to hardware.
Prospective Vendors who responded to the initial software-only RFP may respond to this revised RFP by re-submitting a copy of their original response with the current submission date and a separate cost proposal for the requested equipment. Vendors may also provide a wholly new response, if desired. Since this is considered to be a new solicitation, Vendors who did not respond to the initial RFP may respond to this RFP.
Changes to the March 26, 2014 RFP are indicated in red, however, Proposers should read/review all parts of this revised RFP to ensure that the required proposal information to clearly provided.
Proposals will only be accepted from qualified, certified software vendors. If the hardware will be provided in a partnership, joint venture or some other business combination, the software vendor must be the designated proposer who will be responsible for the supply, installation/integration and warranty of the proposed equipment.
